Maison Kayser has been founded in 1996 with its first bakery in rue Monge, Paris, France. Since then, the founder Eric Kayser and his team of artisan bakers have been respecting tradition and enriching their creations by offering handmade, natural breads as well as Danish, pastries, cakes & French bistrot dishes in over 22 countries around the world.

Monge bread is Eric Kayser’s signature bread.
« Batârd » means literally “Bastard”. This name comes from the fact that this bread is shaped halfway between a baguette and regular loaf bread.
Made of wheat flour and natural liquid leaven.
A crusty bread with a creamy center and a subtle hazelnut flavor.
Ideal for savoury tartine and with any side dishes.
